WAH LA, hoofjack~!!
LOL I'll let ya know how it works out!!
p.s. the reg hoofjack is a bit tall for donks anyhow, so I'd need a smaller one or their 'mini' version.
I really want a hoof jack, I like the idea of it. I think it'll make Daisy relax more when I work with her back feet. and it gives me two hands on whatever I'm doing. Just easier all around I think. But hoof jacks are VERY expensive. So I decided to make my own. I'm hoping to test it tomorrow!! I took one of our car jack stands - we have two sets, I chose the shortest set - they also are adjustable. my taller set is not adjustable ( home made). grabbed one, grabbed some foam pipe insulation and cut a piece to fit over the top of the jack stand. Taped it up so it can slide on & off the jack stand, because I'd still like to use it on the vehicles. Then cut another piece to add padding on top, trimmed it up and taped it to the first piece as best as I could. WAH LA, hoofjack~!!
